The lubricator decreases friction between the blade and counter blade, enabling laminated goods to be cut. The Novita Standard is fully insulated and VDE tested. A special combination gear mechanism gives the machine a unique motor speed strength across the entire load range. The motor only gets moderately warm, preventing overload and guaranteeing the highest protection and service life.

The blade guard is easily and infinitely adjustable and does not obscure blade visibility. The operating handle for the grinding device has been shaped in such a way, that the blade can be sharpened using one hand, even during the cutting operation. Handling and management of the machine is easy and balanced.

KURIS Novita Super

The “Novita Super” provides concentrated force to withstand heavy and even the most difficult of loads. The cutting performance is 10x greater than that of the Novita Standard version. Particularly handy and lightweight machine for cutting all types of material in layers up to approx. 8 mm high, depending on the material.
Particularly suitable for needled felt, Skai, branded films, soft leather and upholstery cover materials. The lubricator reduces friction between the blade and the counter blade, enabling laminated goods to be cut. Cutting machine for template and pattern making, cutting single layers, re-cutting defectives parts, straight cutting true to form, light load (outer wear materials, knitted goods and knitwear, curtain, upholstery and decoration fabrics etc.). The blade protection in signal color can be adjusted easily and infinitely and does not constrict the visibility. The actuating lever for the grinding device is well shaped, so that the blade can be re-sharpened with one hand even during cutting. Handling and guidance of the machine is easy and balanced.

KURIS Novita Jet

The Novita Jet is a modified version of the compressed air operated Novita Standard. It provides ease of use and increased performance everywhere where no electrical connection is possible for saftey reasons, e.g. in wet areas. Untiring and reliable just like all KURIS NOVITA cutting machines. The Novita Jet is driven by compressed air. Therefore every saftey risk is eliminated (overload and the electric motor burn out).

The motor cannot overheat even at a constant output and capacity overload. The outlet air is evacuated to the rear through a double-walled tube – inner tube for supply air; outer tube for discharged air and released into the atmosphere far away from where the cutter is working. It therefore no longer presents a disruption to anyone, either as a result of draughts (air swirls, cold effect, circulating fluff) or even by whistling. KURIS BOM 30

The BOM 30 series electric handheld cutters are lightweight, versatile machines designed to cut various textiles, accommodating layers up to approximately 25 mm thick, especially effective on wool and soft materials. Their six-arc blade and sprung-loaded counter blade work together to deliver efficient cutting at low speeds, making them suitable for both single and multiple layers of light to medium-weight fabrics, such as knits and decorative textiles.

The BOM 101 series electric handheld cutters are lightweight and convenient machines designed for cutting various textiles, accommodating layers up to approximately 25 mm high, depending on the material. The “Power” versions excel in cutting tougher materials like jeans, leather, and industrial fabrics, aided by a lubricator that minimizes friction between the blade and counter blade, making it suitable for laminated goods.

Utilizing a four-arc or six-arc blade with a sprung-loaded adjacent counter blade, this cutting principle delivers effective results at lower blade speeds, efficiently handling both delicate and thicker materials (up to 27 mm). Powered by a robust motor with high traction force and an optimal gear mechanism crafted from a special alloy, the cutters are nearly maintenance-free, generating minimal heat and resisting contaminants due to their unique housing design. It utilizes a four-arc or six-arc blade in conjunction with a sprung-loaded counter blade, allowing for effective cutting at relatively low speeds, making it suitable for both fine and thicker materials.

KURIS KSM 200l Q L/R

The KSM 200 machines are designed for specialized applications, offering custom solutions and special machine construction with options for edge and middle cutters. Featuring a rotating blade made from tool steel and a grinding device with two sharpening edges, these machines lack a base plate, with HSS quality blades recommended for specific cuts. Users can identify left-hand and right-hand versions by observing the blade side; a left-side grinding device indicates a left-hand version, while a right-side device indicates a right-hand version.

The KSM 200 L, designated for lengthways cutting, comes in both left and right-hand configurations and is equipped with an HSS quality four-arc blade and a unilateral grinding device for cutting in one direction. In contrast, the KSM 200 L Q, or cross cutter, also features an HSS quality four-arc blade and a unilateral grinding device, but includes a base plate with two counter blades, allowing it to cut in both directions.

The KVS 900 straight-knife cloth cutter is the ideal machine for cutting various textile materials, especially thick layers, tight curves, and acute angles, providing high cutting accuracy due to its compact base plate, support, and blade design. This lightweight cutter operates quietly, ensuring fatigue-proof work and a clear overview during operation.
Adhering to strict safety standards, the KVS 900 incorporates a presser foot bar with a 13 mm gap from the blade, serving as an additional blade guard and preventing damage to the grinding device when encountering obstacles. The grinding head’s rapid lifting speed of approximately one second per sharpening operation significantly reduces downtime, allowing the grinding wheel to maintain an optimal speed of 7 rpm while sharpening the blade on both sides for even and precise cuts, resulting in clean edges free from fraying down to the bottom layer of material.

It features an automatic grinding device, requiring minimal maintenance, and is highly portable.
The cutter ensures precise, sharp cuts due to the automatic grinding system with sanding belts, and is powered by robust motors with a high power margin. It has a narrow support for reduced effort, a low-friction base plate for smoother operation, and comes equipped with safety features in compliance with CE and accident prevention regulations. Manufactured in Germany, it can cut through material layers up to 160 mm or 220 mm in height, depending on the model.
